The At Thorpeness Golf Club

The sausages had a dry texture like sawdust and the sourdough bread seemed stale. We also found the Danish pastries to be stale. We would not recommend this restaurant. However, dinner at the restaurant was very good.

Out Mountain Biking, decided to stop by for a drink, the changes to the rear of the Restaurant were excellent, service was very good.

A lovely setting and good food served on the terrace overlooking the meare. Friendly staff and super service on a Sunday afternoon. This was our first visit but we will definitely be returning to sample the Sunday roast!

Great food, a nice location and excellent service. Limited choice of menu but sufficient to satisfy a variety of tastes. Amy was particularly professional and friendly.

Four of us had afternoon tea at this restaurant on 21/7. We had pre-booked our reservation and were asked where we would like to sit. We chose to sit in the lounge area, which had comfortable seating and a large coffee table. The afternoon tea itself was delicious and offered excellent value for money. We initially declined tea/coffee upon arrival, but had to go in search of it after the sandwiches were served. However, once we found a staff member, we were quickly served, so it wasn't a major issue. This is a lovely place and we would like to return to explore the restaurant for dinner and possibly stay overnight. Overall, it was a great afternoon tea and we would recommend it.
