Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónMy Uncle told us about the Carl Larson home on they way to falun,Sweden. We went to the Carl Larson Home first then had a lunch Buffet here.It was a very nice restaurant with no one but us in there.
Near the Larsson-Exhibition we found a cozy restaurant with a covered outdoor terrace. We took the lunch buffet and were pleased with the quality and the taste: salads, 2 main dishes, dessert and coffee.
We had visited Carl Larsson's home and felt the need to eat something before our journey back home. We popped into Hyttstugen which is just beside the house Staff were very friendly and made us some lovely open sandwiches on the spot even though it was nearly closing time. This is a very good size restaurant. I would say it caters mostly for the coach tours visiting the artists house. Prices are reasonable.
This restaurant is situated next door to the Carl Larsson house. It offers a good and tasty selection of warm and cold dishes. The place has a relaxed atmosphere and the prices are reasonable. There is also sufficient choice for young children.
2 hot trays of fish and red meat together with 2 types of potatoes. A moderate but good selection of salads with a large plate of delicious salmon that was outstanding. A nice selection of cheese with breads and biscuits. Brambles with strawberries with wonderful almond slices with a large bowl of whipped cream! Coffee or teas. Fruit drinks selection as well. All for roughly £16 a head was good value as far as we were concerned. Many Swedish tourists came in and after giving the table a good inspection decided to stay. And so did we. We would go back for more! Enjoy. Then do the museum next door too.
