The first time here it is often missed by passersby, but this time not. I ordered the bark and nut soup. it was absolutely delicious. the aromen were well rounded and beautifully paired with the braided bark. it could have had more bark in itself, as a small child was worth the handful of bark. noodles were tough and perfectly cooked. total absolutely delicious and piping hot as well. I'm back.
I had the spicy seafood suppe, taste is unreal with the suppe spicy and smokey and a great taste with much mini mustels, baby octopus, calamari, prawns. in say that they all mini and too much suppe and not enough nudels etc. plus much too hot scaling my mouth and never cooled down. the taste first is great, but too much with the suppe and too hot etc. I will come back when I try to eat others on the menu
I really enjoyed this place. the food was good and the price was right! the staff were happy and friendly. Japanese curry rice is the best in town. good for a fast cheap bite.
Have had their boxed sushi at $5 most of the time, which is pretty handy and economical. Tried their bento once but it was not worth the money paid.
