Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI used to frequent Sub Garden often, but then I moved to Vancouver Island. Now that I am moving back to Surrey, the first place I plan to eat at is Sub Garden. Their wraps are so good, I love them.
We love this place! Great food, no processed ****, just a real good homemade sub
This restaurant is the best in town! The food is fresh, healthy, and made perfectly.
I absolutely love Sub Garden! I visited from Trinidad, West Indies and enjoyed their all natural, super tasty, and very healthy subs. The warm family environment and always being greeted with a smile made it a great experience. It was money well spent and I can't wait to return for more of their delicious subs.
I had to sign up just to write a review because reading what Sherman wrote made me want to punch a baby in the face. This place is amazing, and feel free to linger and chat with the owner and/or his wife, they are super nice and friendly, I 've never been disappointed, they have a great sense of humor and are total socialites.<br/ <br/ The food is made to your exact specifications , she will prep the veggies any way you want. Most of it comes pre sliced but they will dice it for you if you want and heat up anything, as well as bake your sandwich or wrap with whatever ingredients you want on it, so you can bake your onions with cheese on top if you 'd like, or i dunno, HEAT YOUR CHICKEN UP SO YOU DON 'T WRITE A BITCHY REVIEW ABOUT IT BEING COLD LIKE SOME GIANT ****. They take their time with every wrap or sandwich so if you see a few people in line just come in, say hi and sit down and wait patiently. Good food takes time. If you want quick food, go to subway.<br/ <br/ I 've never once felt scared there, but it 's possible i 'm just not a gigantic ****. I don 't judge the store by the Locale. <br/ <br/ Their chicken is marinated for 24 48 hours depending on the volume of traffic they go through and the serving sizes are large, so if you go late into the evening they may be out of the chicken you want. If you 're after the Jerk Chicken, dont show up later than 5 or you 'll probably be SOL. You get more than you would at subway or even a 'super sized ' donair from any donair shop, local or downtown. I 've tried them all.<br/ The wraps are delicious as well, and GIGANTIC. The amount and quality of the food you get is top notch. All ingredients are always fresh; as I said, I 've never been disappointed . If you want a sandwich or wrap, and are near Newton, there isn 't a better place to go. She has told me she also does catering and is extremely responsible in doing so. The owners understands things like tomato or too much sauces can make the bread squishy if not eaten right away. Responsible food makers.<br/ What I 'm getting at is that they care about the experience of the customer there and, sorry not everyone can afford prime real estate in the nicest areas of town, but if they could, then it wouldn 't be in frigging Newton to begin with, which is where this Shermons lazy ass was looking to eat anyway, so complaining about the location is the most asinine thing I 've seen in a while. What a total dick.<br/ <br/ It 's true the inside could use a bit of work, but as this 'food expert ' Sherman points out, it doesn 't mean anything when talking about the quality of the food you receive. In my mind, they skimped on the decorations so they could keep their prices down. I don 't mind them passing on the savings to me. And if it keeps snobby people like Sherman off the seat of the table adjacent to me so I don 't have to hear them **** about the Locale, then perhaps it 's a good thing after all.<br/ <br/ If you 're on a anti gluten kick get the wraps, but if you 're not, go for the bread. It 's delicious bread that I assume they bake in house and as Sherman pointed out, it is soft but holds the contents of your sandwich without absorbing it.
