Champagne Room - Surry Hills

Upstairs of the winery, a classy little spot with bar tables and booths. Really classy fit out and great for birthday drinks or a hens party. I ordered the turkish cocktail, lovely flavours and fairy floss sitting on top. I thought the service was pretty non existent and they never checked up on us until I realised there was a 'button to call for champagne'. Not immediately obvious. We had plannned to eat at the Winery but we were moved up to the Champagne Room when an extra guest arrived and we couldn't fit on our table. Although disappointed at first it turned out to be a stroke of luck. It is a really nice space upstairs. Cosy, quiet, peaceful with great service. Started with the Burrata cheese entree. This was really good, the cheese exploded and oozed over the salad when the ball was pierced. Salad was fresh, crisp and light , great starter. For the main I went with the 400g Sirloin with pancetta wrapped asparagus and potato bake - very good as well. Dessert was the brownie with ice cream - yum! Maclaren Vale beer which I don't see too often and great wine selections and recommendations, really capped off a great night.

We had a somewhat frustrating time at the Champagne Room. It wasn't clear that the Champagne Room had a completely different wine and food menu to the Winery. The food was ok but the menu was limited. Service was excellent. Big thanks to Jeremy for making our experience entertaining. I think that the difference between the divided venues need to be made clearer to avoid customer disappointment.

The Chop-Chop Board: ¡la cosa especial del martes es realmente bueno! Me sorprendió tanto que obtuviera tantas cosas en este tablero con solo 35 $. También pedimos el pecho de pato, que estaba tranquilo. Ama la prisión de la batata. Por último, pero no menos importante, sus servicios fueron muy amables :)

Gran entorno para amigos y parejas. Dolor La comida era agradable en general, pero definitivamente ya no era más de 4. No hay tantas opciones. Dolor El servicio estaba bien, pero podría ser mejor, aunque entiendo que es estresante durante una noche bulliciosa. No se satisface excesivamente con todo el tiempo para ordenar y pagar o pagar o pagar o pagar. Abit Defeff
