Grand Eastern Chinese - Sussex

My husband and I normally order with no issues and love the place, however we ordered last night around 715 and got email confirmation of our order. After an hour of waiting I called and both numbers are disconnected. I went to the restaurant and it was locked and dark inside. I think they're shut down but I'm not entirely sure? Aside from this we had another time when we ordered for pickup and they delivered it and left it on the doorstep while we weren't home but aside from these 2 occurrences we loved the place

Before you order anything from this place let me tell you how shady this place is, if you click on the website it brings you to the menu then straight to an ADDIDAS website for no reason? This place doesn’t even pick up the phone and the website is messed up too, since I ordered food for delivery it said pickup which doesn’t make any sense. So be warned.

This place seems to be randomly closed every other day. We put in orders via the website when the business hours claim they're open; but end up getting a text message a few minutes later saying they're closed on multiple occasions on different days of the week. Food is inconsistently mediocre at best. Not to mention they tack on hidden delivery fees usually equating between an additional $6 8 (website says $1 3) before tip. Only upside is this place delivers without having to go through 3rd party like DoorDash, UberEats, PostMates, etc.

I've tried all 4 phone number and no one is answering. I don't think this place is open any more even though it said s they are. I tried calling to place order the other day too same issue.

I have never had a bad meal here. I order Pad Thai and it is great. Shrimp and lobster sauce is also great. I pick up and it is always hot and fresh.
