Chipotle Mexican Grill - Swampscott

So, after a very long-had craving for Chipotle, I decided to satisfy my craving and head over here. I already knew the seating would be communal. but I don 't mind that. I had a burrito with beef, I think (don 't remember). The meat did not have an impact, it was not particularly flavorful or seasoned. Other ingredients were alright, not withered, but not the freshest in the world wither. Same thing goes t the salsas, it may have been made that day or the day before, but was lacking that made very recently freshness. Same thing to chips, bags have fewer also. Burrito itself was overfilled, a full burrito is good, but one that crumbles and had to be finished with a fork and knife is not so good. Service could have been slightly nicer, don 't get me wrong, they were not mean or rude, but somehow I was expecting a slightly warmer attitude, if you understand what I am saying. I will give them that when I asked for chips and salsa, they gave me all three salsas without a problem. It would also have been nice if they had more options. Salsa should be more than just mild, medium, and hot. (Hot wasn 't that hot either). Also, why not jalapenos, or other vegetables. Also, a choice of white or wheat tortilla would have been nice. Chipotle is still a good place, just maybe not this one. If you are looking for more options, visit Qdoba.

I will never forget my first barbacoa burrito. It was the beginning if my love affair with Chipotles. Good thing I didn't have it at this location because I may not have come back for another. Salsa was old and definitely not made fresh. My burrito was wrapped really loose and just fell apart at the seams. The quality of the product at this location is inferior and I will not return

Shocker! I agree with all the other complaining reviews about this Chipotle location. The Swampscott staff are a nightmare. The place is empty yet they are so concerned with chatting and ignoring customers a line will pile up. I 've never been so disgusted at a dirty restaurant before trash is spilling over the tops of the trash area. No napkins stocked. Food is beyond dry or not available at all. Orders are done wrong, and when asked to be corrected you get eye rolls and weird internal rage throwing of your incorrect burrito into the garbage. Try listening! The management isn 't any better, chatting it up with the staff, stirring up the dried out beef ...Borders express was better in this location. Swampscott people are a bunch of snobs head over to Panera on a weekend morning! At the least move them along fast. The only star is for outdoor tables.

Negative STAR Horrible service. Most of the staff (girls) with attitude problem. Leave your problem at home or stay home please.

I've been coming here for years. They started off rocky with staff learning, but the food was worth it. They eventually got better, but lately there is a lot of staff turnover and staff are rude at times. I would give a better rating just for the food but staff makes a difference. They charge extra for everything where other locations don't.
