Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI took a group of my staff out for lunch as a thank you for the work they have been doing and they opted for yum cha at Sky Phoenix. We had an excellent meal. I felt the yum cha was of a very good standard and we had a pretty wide range of dishes. The only dish that is a waste of time is the plate of friend noodles that literally has nothing but noodles in it. The food comes round fast and continuously which is important for yum cha. Very good - will be back!
I have been going to Sky Phoenix for many many years ,I think they might have been in the Glasshouse before Westfield . But must say the last three times I have been very disappointed with the lack of service .The quality and variety of dishes that seem to go around and around .By the time you get it it's cold and tasteless ,One has to ask for every thing .soy sauce ,chilli paste .etc You have to wave to get attention from the trolley ladies ,I'm old and when you are old you become invisible to the younger staff ,Come on Sky Phoenix lift your game .......I won't be back !!!!!!!!!!!
Had an ok lunch here today with a large table of colleagues. Always fun having yum Cha never know what you're going to get and what to expect. Food on the whole was tasty and it kept coming in a good flow. A bit difficult for the vegan in the table however when the plate of veg finally arrived it did look tasty. My favourite dishes were the roast pork and the green veggies plus the mango dumplings which were really tasty and creamy but did taste more western than Chinese. Space is good with huge long windows and high ceilings.
Number one the food was slop. It was cheap and nasty . The service is TERRIBLE and the waiter had disgustingly bad breath . Overall a disheartening experience. The duck was horrible and we didn't eat it , but it wasn't taken off the bill. DON'T GO THERE . Filthy food .
Been coming to this restaurant since my first experience back in 2000 but admittedly it's been a probably 8 years since the last visit. Was there with a large group and unfortunately in comparison to other restaurants the standards have slipped from the heights this place once delivered. Whilst the food was passable and no real complaints, realistically it wasn't any better than a typical suburban equivalent. Went had the banquet as this best suited the group. A great night to be with friends but service was not up to the standards of Chinatown being slick and all over you. Will we be back - probably not, unless I see the reviews improve and therefore will leave it to those who follow to influence.
