Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI dined here on a Wednesday and used a $20 redemption from The Fork. We were offered free bread which was fresh and served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For entree we had the proscuitto and mozzarella. The proscuitto was thinly sliced and the mozzarella was creamy. For main, I had the special for the evening which was fusilli marinara. The sauce was so rich and delicious, i really enjoyed it. The pasta was cooked perfectly and there was plenty of seafood. The restaurant is small, intimate and not too noisy so good for catching up with friends. I would return again to try some of the other dishes.
Fantastic spot in the CBD for authentic Italian dining. A popular choice for the business lunching crowd! Began with the antipasti plate of prawns and calamari; the perfect introduction to whet the appetite! The house specialty Pappardelle Bolognaise is so beautifully constructed and rich with flavour, as is the house-made Spaghetti Mach2 pasta with prawns, zucchini, mint and a touch of chilli! Upstairs is light, bright and full of action as the chefs and waiters buzz about. Downstairs is intimate and chic, with a very attractive bar and exposed sandstone walls. It's the sort of place you could imagine the Godfather dining in a quiet corner. One would be hard pressed to find better pasta in Italy! PS. If you are looking for a romantic spot you must request downstairs!
Came here for brunch. I got the corn fritters which came with bacon and avocados and my sister got pancakes. The service was good and we enjoyed our food.
A lovely afternoon drive to the airport it was, which almost made me feel like I was going places – flying to an unknown destination, to meet the unknown. Even though I wasn’t going to fly, the event did have me meet a lot of new people, explored delectable new tastes, and feel like I was in Italy for a little bit.
The benefit of off site webinar in the city is we usually get to enjoy a long sumptuous lunch as a reward. I am very predictable when it comes to ragu pappardelle and order them every time they appear on the menu. This time I resisted the strong urge and was determined to order something else other than pasta. I am glad I did. My veal with prosciutto green beans was satisfactory to say the least. Veal was tender, moist and not over cooked; the lemon sauce was just enough to cut through the two types of meat without being too citrusy. The green beans wrapped in prosciutto was a nice side and didn't make the dish too meaty. In addition the service was very attentive, our water glasses were constantly topped up. It was on the pricy side for everyday lunch if I had to pay for it, most main courses were around $30 roughly. But it is not a bad option for business lunches.
