Out Of The Blue - Sydney

One of the most delicious fish n chips place I’ve ever been to. Their food is worth the drive and 20 minutes wait. Grilled Hake was so juicy and flavourful. The fish burger is also a must-try at this local gem. Who knows a fried egg can go so well with this fish burger ?! Fish batter is light and still quite crunchy even after a 10 mins walk to the beach. I recommend trying their famous fish burgers which was deliciously balanced and great portion. However sometimes the chips and calamaris could taste too oily.

The staff at this restaurant is amazing, especially Jared who is known as "tonglord" for his fast work in the kitchen. He is a master of the tongs, expertly battering fish and handling the chicken basket. The rest of the team is also great, and they serve the tastiest and most reasonably priced chips I have ever had!

I succumbed to the hype and waited around 20 minutes for a fish burger ($11) and sparkling water ($5). We ended up joining the trendy crowd eating on the steps outside the shop. I enjoyed the fresh salad, generous portion, and overall well-balanced meal. However, I don't feel the need to rush back and wait in line again.

This restaurant is the perfect place to grab a quick meal while visiting Clovelly Beach. The burgers are reasonably priced at around $8-$12, which is hard to come by at most burger joints nowadays. Make sure to try the fish burgers - they are a must-try!

The best fish chip takeaway shop in Sydney. However I love their chicken burger with Mayo Sweet chilli sauce. But please be warned, don't be in a hurry. The wait can take upto 3.5 dog years (usally 30 minutes long) but totally worth it!
