Fish! Fish! Fish! - Tacoma

This place popped up on my FB today. Love F C so had to try it. Wife went and got clam chowder, 2 cod chips, 1 halibut chips. Fish was perfect, and fish pieces were above average size. No mushy fish and no doughy batter. Fries were great, a little salty but I like them that way. Homemade tarter sauce excellent. Prices reasonable. Really wanted to try the albacore but N/A today. Overall great. They are a new place, so one suggestion. Get the online ordering thing happening, and get the online menu accurate. Sent my wife for albacore because i saw no halibut meal on the online menu. When she got there, there was no albacore but there was halibut. Growing pain issue, I’m sure. Food and service is great. Highly recommend!

Love this new Fish restaurant!!! The sauces are the best, many to choose from and of course the favorite tartar sauce is exquisite! The fish is perfectly cooked and the batter is a light and crispy perfectly tasty fish experience. You can mix and match many of the items on your meals, including trading out those tasty fries you may not want for a totally delicious quinoa pineapple salad. All of this goes together so perfectly you will love whatever choices you make!

Having just opened at the time of my visit I 'm going to the high side on my rating. They 're still working everything out and do not serve their full menu yet. FISH FISH FISH is Brit style fish and chips, which is my preference. A nice beer batter on the fish the portions are generous and well done. You can have Halibut or Cod. The menu promises Mushy Peas in the future...I hope they follow through. However, the Clam Chowder was not good. It was unseasoned and very thick, as in 'too much flour ' thick. I do think they will work this out and look forward to checking back in soon as any excuse to eat Brit fried fish is good for me. Staff is good here they were still figuring it out, but they genuinely care about your experience.

OMG, I ordered the small plate! Best F&C in 30 years. Huge piece of flaky, meaty fish with a paper-thin batter ta die fer. Wifey got the child's plate which was plenty big. Decent chowder, too. Yes, my piece is a foot long.

Very delicious food! A little spendy but you definitely get what you pay for..and it's quick, delicious, and is decorated with a cool old school fishing theme.
