We had the bacon-onion olive oil base pizza, and it was delicious! Also the mafaldine with mushrooms. I like my pasta al dente and this wasn’t, but the sauce was so delicious I quickly dismissed that. Brownie sundae and their coconut cake for dessert! Our server was so funny, and really everything about our dining experience here was incredible. Well priced, too! Will be back again. Lovely restaurant!
This is the second time coming here. The first time I would have rated them 5 star this time not quite as good as first. The drinks were a little on the sour side although the old fashioned was good. The steak had good flavor but was a tad chewy. The potato gratin was delicious. It is unfortunate that you don't get a choice of a different potato. The arugula salad presentation looked pleasing but was a little hard to eat without having to tear apart the prosciutto by hand. The fun guy Pizza had a really great crust and delicious flavors with the goat cheese.The star of the night was the calamari which was absolutely divine although because it has a nice sauce they should serve it with a little hunk of grilled bread on the side.The first time we went we had pasta and fish which was spot on as were the drinks. Service was great and I like that they do contact tracing. Clean and friendly staff. We will definitely give it another try.
Delicious food. Cauliflower appetizer always a win. Everyone at the table said they enjoyed their mains (salmon special and ribeye of note on our bill. Duck wasn't hitting the right notes w seasoning, not bad, not great. Coconut cake was the same, but the port dessert wine was lovely. Certainly would go back for the high points.
My wife and I ate at the bar and had a very mediocre experience. The bartender made decent drinks but gave us poor service. After our initial order he never checked back in. We ordered polenta and the Brussels sprout appetizer and the pasta and the “prime” ribeye. The pasta was good but the steak was very below average. The bartender was inattentive and we had to wave down another employee to get the check. For spending over $200 I expect better service.
