If you have chance to visit there, I recommend you to try “Kama butter Udon”. This is hot noodle with butter, pepper and fresh egg. Before eating mix them carefully and enjoy tasting. And also other menus are also recommended. This restaurant opens from 6:00 am. We can enjoy good noodles as breakfast. It is good to visit earlier time because you do not need to wait so long as there is long and long queue if you visit peak time( around lunch time).
Ink Udon Square, which is super popular and crowded. Sales are high (as always in Udon restaurants) and so even if there is a queue, you don't have to wait too long. If you can try to avoid weekday lunch breaks, as there are many workers in the area coming to this place. The Udon dishes are somewhat more expensive than average, but it is quite delicious and the portions are very generous.
Delicious! I had the rangοος that it seemed to be most people ordered. The medium was so much food that it was hard to finish. Be ready to wait. I went on a holiday at 5 pm (Mountain Day), and the waiting time at the restaurant was 40 minutes.
Worthy to wait for the noodle! It is the first shop in Japan serving the noodle with butter. The queue is long but all customers are well disciplined and give their seats once finished the meals. Only take 20-30 minutes to get in the restaurant during 7:00-8:00 a.m. There is no waiter leading you to the seat, you just wait for the same number of customers as your group leaving and get in. This can ensure that you will have seats after having picked up your meal. The restaurant is famous among the celebrities, I have found 蜷川實花‘s signature on the wall.
Incredibly delicious: I went yesterday and already am trying to figure out how to get back there. in terms of visiting without a car, it’s a little bit out of the way. This was my first time in a shop set up in this way so I’m still a little confused and it was a bit intimidating (as a lot of things are in this country), but my impression was you decide a style and then you can put toppings on as you like. Seems some of them are free, some you have to pay for. I wanted tempura but there were no more (I came about a half hour before they closed so maybe that’s why). There is an English menu available for those who need that. Probably the best udon I’ve eaten in my life. Oh and I only payed a little more than 500円 私にとって一番おいしいうどん。香川県うどん食べたから、満足しました。とてもうまい!安い!
