Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónLocated on Missouri Street in Promenade Greenhills, this Taiwanese restaurant is definitely worth a visit. While the place may seem small at first, there is actually a second floor that offers a more quiet and private dining experience. Their best seller is the delicious Taiwanese beef noodle, and their congee with century egg is also quite nice. Both dishes are generously portioned and can easily feed two people. While I wasn't a fan of their vermicelli noodle, their other dishes are worth trying on a return visit. Prices are reasonable, but the restaurant could benefit from adding more staff both inside and outside the kitchen. Additionally, the head waitress/cashier could work on speaking more quietly, as her loud voice can be heard throughout the entire restaurant.
Our group, which includes senior citizens who prefer hot food, ordered a variety of dishes at this restaurant. We enjoyed congee, fried pork chop, stir-fried noodles, beef teppanyaki, pork dumplings, hot green tea, and a dessert of soy pudding with taro and sweet potato balls, as well as another variant with black gelatin. The pork chop tasted similar to the famous Taiwan pork chop with black pepper sauce. The congee was satisfying, although we thought the vegetables could have been sliced more thinly. The standout dish was the beef teppanyaki. The dessert with black gelatin was enhanced by the twist of the soy pudding, but we would have preferred natural taro and sweet potato over artificial flavors. The restaurant was bustling with customers, many of whom ordered the beef noodle soup, which we plan to try next time as it seemed to be a popular choice.
