First Watch - Tampa

So this place has great service and super workers but the timing is EVERYTHING! It is in a prime location specifically for the local residents. However there's many people that are traveling and find what they're used to from other parts of the country. So they gravitate towards the specific location. It's not as big as some of the other First Watch locations I've been to. The workers try really hard to stay on top of things to keep everybody Pleasant. But because of the amount of people that go in there the kitchen gets slammed and it takes a while for you to get your food. Mind you it is very hot when it's delivered but you may end up waiting for it for quite some time and fill up one coffee and water and juice. Food is phenomenal Services even better just make sure you plan your time just right. Sundays after 10:30 a.m. plan to wait a good 60 minutes. Don't let this deter you check it out!

Although the service is quite good for most, the food itself is mediocre and definitely not as fresh as they claim on their menu. For the last two times I ordered the BLT eggs Benedict and the smoked salmonier Benedict. The bacon on the BLT was hard, but the fried egg was delicious and perfectly cooked. However, the Hollandaise sauce was missing in the season and the tomatoes had no taste strange together with the Arugula it was just not a very good combination. Next time I decided to try the smoked salmon Benedict. The salmon was soggy and tasteless as it was frozen and then frozen in the microwave. Again the Hollandaise lacked taste, but the egg was cooked again perfectly. But the potatoes are delicious and the environment is very beautiful, small and secret in the way. Staff are pretty friendly about what I remember.

Updated on 10/24/22: I received a simple apology and reassurance of improved management. Unfortunately, it seems that they are using this review to avoid addressing their service issues. I was hoping for a better experience, but this restaurant is not the place to go for brunch. The service was subpar. I called ahead to reserve a table for 8, but the waitress forgot about us after taking the children's food order. We had to track her down to place our order, and it took 45 minutes to an hour to receive our food. We waited a total of two hours before our meals arrived. The management failed to keep us updated on the status of our service. I'm not sure if this was due to our party size or a staffing issue. A heads up would have been appreciated if they couldn't accommodate large groups. I would have taken my business elsewhere. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant for brunch or any other outings.

Love firstwatch! This location especially! My dream dinner date is breakfast for dinner but it would have to be an early dinner... okay brunch, I like brunch

I’m from Wisconsin and had a very pleasant brunch yesterday . Love the healthy menu. The avacado toast was Amazing! Such a great place to stop in and eat. Look forward to my next trip back .
