Last the bread pudding made with donuts. Amazing! The drinks were ok. We had a view if the kitchen. Such a special occasion. Recommend! The menu changes several times a week, so go soon.
The brunch was very good. They had a great choice of beers and cocktails. The environment is very relaxing and the service was great.
We are walking distance to The Refinery, but this was the first visit during Sunday Brunch. We had just finished yoga and didn't feel like changing, going home, only eating quickly. It was moderately busy when we arrived but there 2 spots at the bar right in front of the BPL soccer game was being aired, so we were happy! My wife ordered coffee and we did take a few minutes deciding. The brunch menu, just like their standard menu, is chock full of items you won't find elsewhere. Looking for some eggs and bacon, we chose to order off the sides menu to create our late breakfast. It was nice to sit at the bar...certainly not our first time and we had the same attentive service. Food was perfect and quick. Coffee, according to my exacting wife, quite good. A nice Sunday brunch. We were charged one item 2 times on our bill, but it was promptly resolved.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was exceptionally delicious. We tried the falafel appetizer, the grass-fed beef burger, and the fried chicken served with collard greens and cornbread. The prices were reasonable given the high quality of the food. Although parking was limited, we noticed some people parked in no-parking areas. I will definitely return the next time I'm in town.
I dined at The Refinery for the first time and ordered the grilled snapper served on a bed of lentils with a cabbage salad. I really appreciate that they use fresh ingredients, and I must say the meal was delightful. However, there were some downsides. The kitchen seemed overwhelmed; they forgot our appetizer, and our dessert didn’t arrive on time because we had to rush to a show. The brownies finally came out at the last minute, which I found odd since they were cold (clearly out of the fridge). It would have taken just 30 seconds to plate them and add some caramel sauce. It wasn’t anything elaborate. Despite this, I would definitely consider going back because the food was solid; perhaps they were just having an off night.
