The maintenance person made an attempt to fix it but it was late and his shift was about to end. Eventually the noise subsided. But I was so nervous that something bad was going to happen in the middle of the night that I couldn't rest. It's too bad that experience left a lasting impression.
We went here for a wedding. As an event venue, it was beautiful. The hotel itself is great. The rooms, well at least my room, was a little too small and a bit dark. Not my general taste. I got a room with double beds but didn't realize it would be double full-size beds. That could have totally been my lack of reading.
Stood here 2 nights for a wedding. One of the worst hotels I've stood at. First 1 role of toilet paper for 3 people 1 bar of soap. Every hotel I was at offered free coffee all day not this place it cost $3.96 cents a cup. No exhaust fan and very dark bathroom. Hated the elevators and parking. The brunch which was paid for wasn't great I had to ask for bread there was scrambled eggs bacon and sausage bagels and muffins and fruit. No waffles or oatmeal. At any other hotel this is free. Continental breakfast which isn't great was better than this paid for brunch.
My family was staying at the hotel and we had dinner Saturday night. I can say that coppers has the best food in town and the best, caring, attentive and amazing people working there. We were so happy because we finally met chef Bradley Freckleton, he was walking around the dining room, making sure everyone was enjoying the moment. He was so attentive to each table. He takes coopers to another level. An outstanding chef!!! Maria the restaurant manager she was amazing as always, she came to our table making sure the food and drinks were to the perfection. She is an outstanding manager with high standards of F&B. The servers were amazing Guillermo, Randy and a lady that I don’t remember her name made of our dining experience to a different level. I’m from Dobbs Ferry and I love to come to Coppers Mill.
Stayed here for a wedding and the place is definitely worn down. Not sure why the wedding block has people all over the hotel. Dust on fixtures, bathroom shower gel smelled like something I'd use to scrub floors at home. Outdated lobby, unfriendly front desk. I asked for some extra towels and received towels that were supposedly white but looked like they had been used to wash a car! Stay somewhere else.
