We had a delicious brunch here on ironman 70.3 day and they were not doing the full menu , however they did do us some scrambled eggs n bacon on ciabatta, honestly best eggs ever! Great service and such friendly staff. Highly recommend.
This is a secret little diamond. Located a little off the main trail, this little Cafe punches above all the location location location spots. We had the big breakfast and fruit waffles. Both well presented. Whilst the ingredients aren 't the Hilton in New York, they are well cooked and yummy. Staff were friendly, fast and eager to make the experience great. It 's a small location, but if you 're willing to sit at the other end of a big table from someone, you 'll get a spot.
The food was very tasty! And the service lovely but I can't find the logic in bringing out the sweet order first heated up when it's just going to get cold while eating the savoury order. Do people here eat desert first? Sorry for asking to have sweet order brought out again later again, certainly didn't want to be a difficult person. It's just 101 hospitality no? Otherwise lovely place I do recommend it! And I will pop in again
Stayed in Taupō for a few days and visited Tui's Nest 3 times! The coffee is fantastic, scones today were amazing, brunch on Saturday was delicious and Lisa was very welcoming! Will definitely be back next time we visit Taupō.
