Chisago House - Taylors Falls

Would not recommend at all. This place used to be great when I was younger and visited Taylor’s falls but clearly is not the same.One of the people at my table ordered a BLT that is supposed to have mayo but instead had a house dressing on it which was not close to mayo and did not taste good. Not to mention that the sandwich was absolutely overloaded with it. When we asked the waitress, she said “well all BLTs come with mayo!” Sure, but it wasn’t mayo?? They refused to give us our money back. Then we requested to talk to the owner and the waitress came back and said that the owner was “too busy” to speak with us and said she would take off the sandwich, but still made us pay for the hash browns that she ate. This goes to show how truly awful this place is being run now and they do not know how to keep customers happy. Additionally, the person that had a few bites of the BLT got sick with what seemed like food poisoning. Overall a horrible experience and we will not be going back.

Good food at a great price in a cozy diner atmosphere.

The worst chicken breast ever! Dry, tough and tasteless. No one asked how things were either. Pleasant waitress but we will nver go again. Really awful!

The restaurant offers an excellent selection of delicious dishes. I really enjoyed my meal here. The staff are consistently friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the establishment is always clean.

The service was quick and friendly, and the salad bar was outstanding. They were able to accommodate our large reunion group with ease. The atmosphere was clean and appealing.
