Wings were good, sweet potato fries were amazing. One thing I dislike about this place is website miscommunication. Certain flavors online state that it also comes in boneless. But when I visit a physical location that turns out to be false. Also I asked if it was possible to get a custom item. Nope. My guess is that food items are pre seasoned. Either way still a great place to eat chicken.
Today, we made a trip to Temple City specifically to experience the food. Drawing inspiration from what I had seen in the food blogs, we ordered the honey garlic chicken and the bulgogi poutine. The honey garlic chicken was exceptional—I completely understand why the food bloggers rave about it. The combination of garlic and honey elevated the crispy chicken to a heavenly taste experience. With the freshly fried chicken, my taste buds were thrilled with all the delightful flavors. The bulgogi poutine was just as impressive. This was my first time trying this dish, which consists of hash browns, cheese, kimchi, and some Korean sauce. The end product was another delicious treat that I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend giving it a try! So for anyone interested in experiencing the famous Korean street food, make your way to Temple City and indulge in some outstanding Korean BBQ chicken.
The fried chicken here is absolutely delicious, and their boneless fried chicken is the best I've ever had. Unlike most boneless wings that are just shredded meat shaped into pieces, theirs feature real whole pieces of chicken. The Spicy Galbi offers an excellent balance of flavors with a bit of kick, while the honey garlic also impresses with its well-rounded taste, and both are incredibly crispy. I was pleasantly surprised by the fries, which, although a bit pricey, were perfection. They are the best french fries I've had in a long time—perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned just right so they're flavorful without being overly salty. The smallest order includes 8 pieces, which might not sound like too much, but they are generously sized, so be ready to enjoy or save some for later!
On the downside, I wish the chicken wings had a bit more spice and were priced lower—nearly $2 for a small wing is a bit much! The spicy galbi wings had a nice kick, but they weren't as spicy as we had hoped. Plus, the cheese on the poutine definitely needed to be melted. Overall, it was great chicken! Korean fried chicken is such a guilty pleasure—high in calories but absolutely worth it!
