Pizzeria San Francesco - TERRACINA

Hands down the best pizza with this style, it's a teglia rather than the round one. We had the red one without cheese, the regular margherita and the boscaiola. They were amazing! The only pizza comparable to is Sally's in New Haven, trust me the standards of taste are the same! You order it at the counter together with the drinks and the suppli (small arancine) and you pick it up when it's ready, basically there is no table service. You select your own table and you'll bring it there. I listened to locals and they were 100% right, it's very good pizza. From the street, it might look like an average bakery or pizza place. Please don't judge the book by it's cover. Definitely worth it!

There are other places serving pizza in Terracina, some of them more prestigious and luxurious. But if you want to try real pizza Italian natives buy everyday at reasonable prices, you should try this place. You can eat on site or get a take-away, buy a classic, round pizza or take a piece of any size, priced by its weight. Each one is delicious.

I've eaten at almost every pizzeria in the city. San Francesco is by far the best. High quality ingredients, low prices (example XL pizza Margherita 8 euro) large variety of topping plus a very courteous staff. It's always very busy so I would recommend calling ahead and ordering.

Pizzeria di Terracina sulla salita che porta verso il monte di Giove. La pizza è buona, condita bene e devo dire digeribile. Ci sono stati problemi di comunicazione con il personale che quando c'è un po' più di gente va in confusione. Comunque alla fine la situazione è stata gestita utilizzando tanta pazienza da parte nostra... Comunque consigliato!
