Also, maybe somebody should monitor the lanes as a Kids next to us were throwing up multiple bowling balls in the air and having them crash down on the lanes, which was extremely rude and distracting.
Cool environment and fun things to do is all this place has going for it. Seems that the employees need a major lesson in customer service.Last time I went, the bar had a vendor coming (beer company), asked the bartender about it and he sluggishly said “I don’t know anything about that, I just work here” and chuckled. How do you say that to someone seriously.. he wasn’t a kid either. He could have offered to find out but didn’t.Went in to buy a gift card and the staff is standing around talking with one another, all stare at you as you approach the desk without saying anything. No “hi how are you, what can I help you with”, etc. (aka the basics of customer service). You can’t help but feel like you’re a bother. This should be a major concern for management.Asked for a Firewater gift card and the girl had to call a manager. Manager comes over and says “the restaurant opens at 12:30”. It was 11:30, but I figured someone (especially the manager) should be able to ring in a gift card no problem. No reasoning, no explanation, just “nope, can’t do that”. Another individual that needs a major lesson in people skills… seems to be a theme with this place.Without the fun activities there is absolutely no reason to go to this place… they’re lucky that there isn’t a nearby competitor but regardless their staff needs a course on Customer Service 101. The negative attitudes won’t last.
We had our kid’s birthday party here. Spent $600-$700 for 2 hours (with drinks and extras . No Happy Birthday on cupcakes, plates or anywhere. My kid had to blow the candle on a very small cupcake you get from Market Basket under very loud music they refused lower when the kids sang happy birthday. I heard they announced names saying happy birthday through microphone last time I was here for another occasion. Not sure why our assigned staff said there was nothing she could do. It was the most disappointing birthday party we’ve ever had for our child. (However, we tipped the staff extra because she looked like a part time job student. Reading the prev reviews about racism incident just leaves me a bad taste after our birthday experience. I can’t help thinking perhaps they did that because we are Asian? I guess this is why reviews are important?Overall, the place has a great potential. Waitress is very friendly every time we go there. Their margarita is surprisingly good! Wish they get a new marketing team to boost their service and branding. Their parking lot will be packed if they do it right.
Came for a fun Sunday night with the girls, left disappointed (sober and hungry). Our sever never came back to ask what we would like to order for dinner and then was eating dinner as we were searching for her. We were unable to order dinner or another round of drinks. Don’t bother if you looking for a fun night.
My family I came to bowl recently and the young blonde girl at the cashier did not communicate with us clearly. We had a misunderstanding and she failed to mention the policy until we finished bowling. I will not be bowling here anymore!!
