It is a nice restaurant with great service and even better grill. We sat right away and the server went by to get our drinks orders. Never been there before we order some brisket sandwiches, an order of frits, Mac n cheese and their version of ranch-style beans. I also ordered a quarter pound of sausage (they make themselves), just to try it. Everything was quickly served and hot pierced. Personally, I would have preferred a little less slender cut of Brisket, but it was delicious and had really nice smoke. The sausage was just as I like it, very little fat and heavy black pepper. They also brought three different bottles of sauce to the table without our request. All were homemade and all three were good. I prefer the mustard sauce. Intensive taste with beautiful heat. The sides were all up shelf. The beans were some of the best I ever had, nice and smokey with lots of meat. The homemade frits were super crisp and delicious. All in all, I would call this place a winner on all fronts. I'll be looking for her next time in Texarkana.
Great tasting food. Large portions. Dessert was pleasing to my eyes and made my taste buds dance with delight. I had short ribs and it was falling off the bone and full of flavor. The bathroom was cute. And it had a joke on the door. When you make it there please check it out.
Outstanding place ! Atmosphere was worked on with live piano player. Deco very nice excellent food. Clearly run by people dedicated to customer experience. People that know what a restaurant is aiming for. Would recommend and hat off for the atmosphere
The two of us shared a 3/4 lb platter with brisket sausage. Sides were the mac 'n cheese, potato salad green beans. Seriously, the brisket could be cut with a paper fork if I had one. It was exactly what we had heard, melt in your mouth . The sausage not salty and the blend of pork and brisket was perfect proportions. The bread was soft, green beans perfectly seasoned, potato salad tasty the mac 'n cheese was a delight. It perfectly compliments a bite of brisket. They bring 3 bbq sauces. I tried each, and they all stand on their own. The spicy one was my favorite. We were on the road, so when the blackberry cobbler to go arrived, we passed the scoop of ice cream to another family. Once we arrived home, the cobbler went down quickly. The best thing would be to eat it hot with that side of ice cream, but it was moist on its own. We will be back!!!! PS: bathroom was clean and I loved the old door faucet/ sink feature.
Making our way from Memphis to Galveston after Christmas we came across Naaman 's BBQ. Have to say I was thoroughly impressed! It is a beautiful restaurant with great service and even better barbecue. We were seated immediately and the server swung by to get our drink orders. Having never been there before we order a couple brisket sandwiches, an order of fries, mac n cheese and their version of ranch style beans. I also ordered a quarter pound of sausage (they make their own) just to try it out. Everything was served quickly and piping hot. Personally I would have preferred a little less lean cut of brisket but it was delicious and had really nice smoke. The sausage was just the way I like it, very little fat and heavy black pepper. They also brought three different bottles of sauce to the table without our asking. All were homemade and all three were quite good. I preferred the 'mustard ' sauce. Intense flavor with nice heat. The sides were all top shelf. The beans were some of the best I 've ever had, nice and smoky with plenty of meat. The homemade crinkle fries were super crisp and delicious. All in all I 'd call this place a winner on all fronts. I will seek them out next time we 're in Texarkana.
