The Haywain has everything you need and expect in a local pub and moreMyself and my wife often visit this pub as we live very close to it.

Awesome dumplings, i had veg dumplings though they have only one in veg but still worth trying and baked mushroom tofu dish is super yummy. They are quick in serving, quiet good customer service for both in house our take away orders. My friends had some lamb buns and they like it too. For all veggies I must say, go for it if you are a dumplings fan. Cheers!!!

Authentic dumplings and solid mainland Chinese mains. Airy and bright, we sat inside this time. We start with the prawn and calamari dumplings, and the scallop and snow pea dumplings. Both good, although the chilli too oily. Then the duck gua buns. Duck a bit gristly, and the buns not as delicate as I'd have hoped. Give these a miss. Then the kung pao chicken and the stir fried prawns in chilli. Both good, but again not outstanding. Prawns ok, but definitely not fresh - impossible to remove the last of the flesh from the tip of the tail, which tells me they're frozen. The barbera was lovely.

Wow! Dumplings and cocktails this place certainly has me hooked. An excellent lunch option in the city - go with a group so that you can sample as many dumplings as possible! The absolute stand out was the steamed pork wonton with sesame sauce and chili. This was closely followed by the steamed chicken shumai. Of course there are also mains on offer but with duck and spinach dumplings and some delicious BBQ pork buns why not just fill up on these. Dessert is also a must, we managed to sample the black sesame and coconut squares and the delicious firecracker macaroon sandwich with lemongrass ice cream. The cocktails are something else, crafted by the award winning artist Kate McGraw. The only downside is this place is not cheap so head to Papa Bo Min between 5 and 7pm for $10 dumpling baskets and half price cocktails!!!!

Wonderful food. The Crispy Chicken was absolutely amazing. Staff were friendly, amazing and attentive. Gave us wonderful recommendations for dessert and wine. Had a wonderful evening here. Will definitely come back!
