Plans for food in the very near future, all ladies kno how to pull a pint, dog friendly and kid friendly too, smash a Sunday roast and couldn't ask from my local... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Lovely old timber-framed building. My pint of Old Speckled Hen was excellent. Prices reasonable and service very friendly. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great pub great atmosphere and of course lovely beer
Attended a remembrance meal. Catering was very good.
Spent a pleasant few hours in a quaint old pub which would have been in the middle of nowhere when it was built maybe 300 years ago ? When things were built by eye ! It’s a grade 2 listed building and I’m informed the room I’ve pictured would have housed cattle initially and in later years a room for horses to recover after a day pulling a coach . They had a singer this Saturday doing rat pack songs which was a welcome accompaniment. The staff were lovely and the drinks were a good price . Thanks to all at the Royal Oak for a lovely evening .
