Louie's Cafe - Toledo

I absolutely adore this bar! You have the opportunity to meet interesting new people and possibly make new friendships. The bartenders are fantastic and they have a great selection of drinks. The food, especially the burrito, is amazing.

Unfortunately, I have to admit that Louie's JJ's Cafe has not been up to par lately. The food quality has noticeably declined in my last two visits, especially with the meat dishes. The double cheeseburger, which used to be comparable to Green Lantern and Five Guys, is now unpleasant. The burger patties and bun have a similar texture, leading me to question if there is a lot of filler in them. It could be due to the current situation, but it seems like some entertainment options like the pinball machine and pool tables have been removed or closed off. On a positive note, the prices are still very affordable, and the ambiance remains cozy and conducive to relaxation. Despite the disappointing food, I will give them another chance in hopes of improvement, but for now, I can only give them three stars.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. It is consistently excellent and always delivers exactly what you expect.

If you like a dive bar you have found your heaven. I am looking forward to coming for breakfast. Just had the. 65 Taco and they were 100% worth it!

My friends don't want me to tell you about this place, but it's magic. Total hole in the wall time capsule with prices from the 80's. For being dirt cheap, the food is pretty solid! I am not going to go into any more detail as it's best experienced in person. I'm just disappointed I didn't find out about Louie's JJ Cafe sooner.
