After a long journey through multiple cities, we were in the mood for some delicious homestyle Bangladeshi food for lunch. Adda was recommended to us by a Bangladeshi Uber driver, and it did not disappoint! The biyer Bari chicken roast reminded us of dining in Dhaka, while the beef and kashir mangsho, along with the pulao and various borthas, had us licking our fingers in delight. The milky chai and doi for dessert were the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. The next day, we made the journey from Downtown Toronto back to Adda for dinner to sample even more delicious dishes, and they were just as amazing. The owner, his daughter, and the serving staff were extremely welcoming and provided top-notch customer service, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. We have visited many great Bangladeshi restaurants in London, UK, where we live, and Adda definitely ranks among the best. We give it a 10/10 for food, service, and decor, and we can't wait to return when we come back to Toronto.
I had a very great experience. The dj and the food is awesome. Loved it! ? They have a dj night every weekend. I loved both the Tollywood and Bollywood night. Waiting for more events.
There is lots to love about this gem!! The food is absolutely delicious and fresh! It’s quintessential Indian food with a modern twist- they have these butter chicken nachos where they make chips themselves! Please try those I couldn’t stop thinking about them once I’ve had them! The bartender Ranveer is so kind and makes the best drinks and really adds to the fun and party energy of this place! They even have karaoke! Honestly you can’t go wrong with this place. If you’re looking for good Indian food, a south Asian party environment in Friday’s and Saturdays, this is the place!
My friends and I attended Bollywood night at this restaurant on Saturday, with an entry fee of $10 per person. The restaurant is located in the center of the city and has a mediocre ambience with limited space. The entry ticket does not guarantee a table reservation, it is simply for entry into the establishment. The DJ was fantastic and played a great mix of Bollywood, Punjabi, and English songs. We enjoyed the music so much that we didn't even sit down and danced the entire time. We will definitely be returning for the lively atmosphere and music, but not for the food as it is quite pricey.
