Brasileirissimo Steak House - Toronto

My family and I didn’t have a good time there on our last visit. The owner seemed a little bummed that we showed up for lunch and only ordered appetizers. Service was mediocre and the atmosphere was not pleasant as a religious program was on TV loud enough to bother our party. I’ll definitely not go back to this place. The fried pastries were actually good, but I wouldn’t go back for anything other than that.

The food is great. But Unfortunately the place was closed when Google Mapa said it was open (at around 2pm). You guys keep forgetting to update that!

Came here for dinner with family and friends on a Saturday night. On their social media channel, they stated that they close at 9:30 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. However, when we got there at 8:15 pm, they told us that they were going to close at 9 pm instead and rushed us to order. Food was average for a Brazilian restaurant and customer service was so-so.However, when I got the bill, I realized that I got charged $4 for the 2 extra EMPTY plates that I asked for when we ordered 3 entrees amongst the 4 of us. First of all, none of that was ever mentioned on their menu with regards to the extra cost of sharing. Second of all, the waitress never mentioned the extra cost until I asked her about the extra charge on my bill (which was handwritten). When I asked her to show me where the disclaimer is on the menu, she just simply told me that Brazilians don’t normally share food, hence the extra charge. I have quite a few Brazilian friends, and none of them said that it’s common for them to charge extra for customers who want to share food with their peers. I think that this is extremely unfair to customers especially then I have already ordered 3 items amongst the 4 of us.Sorry but I'm not coming back any time soon. I hope they would reflect and work on these problems.

Initially, we had trouble finding the entrance, missing it twice before resorting to the street address for guidance. It's odd for a five-star restaurant to have such a concealed entryway. I've dined at Brazilian restaurants before, and what was offered as a rare steak wasn't what I had anticipated. The fried calamari was similarly underwhelming. Additionally, when the server presented the bill, there was a discrepancy of $30 on a $72 tab, which they attributed to HST. As for the atmosphere, I didn't find anything noteworthy. On a positive note, the food was fresh and served promptly.

Exceptional Brazilian cuisine! The food is delicious, so be sure to bring your loved ones along. They offer $10 steaks and have vegetarian options like carrot soup.
