South Indian Dosa Mahal Maybe - Toronto

This restaurant is a must visit. I loved everything about my dining experience. The food was bursting with flavor and healthy. The dosa was so crispy- its was soooo good! The three curries and chutneys were mind-blowingly amazing and delicious. The staff was amazing too, she was kind, attentive and informative. I liked the decor and ambiance too. It is my new favorite indian restaurant. ????

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and now I'm regretting not discovering it sooner. I ordered the plain dosa platter, which came with a fantastic selection of curries and chutneys. Every dish was incredibly delicious. I especially enjoyed their hot masala tea. The service was top-notch, with the server showing great knowledge about the food and a kind heart by giving me extra chutney without me even asking, as we had discussed my fondness for it. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place for its delicious food, excellent service, and relaxing atmosphere.

I tried the Herb Zest Dosa at this restaurant. I didn't taste a strong flavor of herbs or lemon in it. The dosa batter was average, not amazing but not terrible either. The potato filling was tasty. The sambar was delicious but the portion size was smaller than what is typical. They did not provide any coconut chutney. The green and red chutneys were watery and lacked authentic flavor (refer to picture). The restaurant had a cozy and clean atmosphere.

Delicious, fresh and beautifully spiced dosa! Wow. I had the Tamarind Masala Dosa. Sweet, spicy, crispy, with a delicious potato mixture in the middle. I thought I wouldn?t be able to finish it but once I started I had no trouble polishing it off. So good! And the server was super friendly and helpful.

Had a chance to eat at the Roncesvalles location yesterday with my son and his gf. I frequently ate at South Indian Dosa Mahal at Bloor/Lansdowne before the fire and I have longed for their food ever since. The food is still just as amazing and the prices are great. We all had a thali. All the best to the Logan family, especially Naomi who I remember fondly from the previous location.
