Ricardos Italiano - Torquay

Oh my goodness!!! We absolutely loved this restaurant. The service was prompt and friendly the food was beyond amazing and sooo delicious, the atmosphere and decor is great and the price is very reasonable. Richard (owner) even gives the personal touch of asking every table if they are enjoying their meal. The menu has so many yummy choices that I have no choice but to go back again and again. My new favourite place to eat by far.

Sensational service from friendly, knowledgeable staff. Everyone is attentive and happy to help. Then there is the food so ridiculously good! Fresh local ingredients make for a delicious menu. We had calamari, trio of dips and garlic bread for starters followed by a main of beef cheeks and another of pescatore linguine, then deserts including tiramisu and gelato. Could not fault any of the food, any of the staff or the lovely setting. We had a toddler and baby which was no problem at all and had a beautiful evening. Happy to recommend Ricardos and will definitely be returning.

Pleasantly surprised. Must admit I came in with low expectations, but they were greatly surpassed. Service was on point and occasional checkin from owner. Looking forward to coming back and trying more on menu. Beef cheeks were spot on. Wouldn't mind a few higher shelf wines on menu, though what I had wasn't too bad.

Highly recommend this restaurant! Great service, amazing food, nice trendy decor! Oh and the best Nutella, banana and melted marshmallow pizza ever!

Honestly couldn't fault a thing. The service was so fast, our plates were cleared within 10, maybe even 5 mins, of finishing our meals but the staff weren't hovering. The food was amazing, price was less than I expected considering how much we ordered. My favourite part was that you do takeaway so we could still enjoy the dessert pizza at home before our toddler had a meltdown. Absolutely amazing, we'll definitely be back regularly. Thank you
