Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWent because the kids wanted an afternoon snack. The range was a bit limited but it was the afternoon. They are all of it and wanted more so that says it all.
When I received it it was inedible. Rubbery, soggy, even my dog didn't want it. I picked at what I could. Only ate about 1 tenth of what I bought. Ended up with food poisoning.
The sushi here is ok, nothing to be raved about but good for a quick to grab lunch. My biggest problem is that it sells Miso soup and makes it out of a packet!
When we first moved to Hervey Bay it was obvious there was a big gap in the market as at the time this was the only sushi shop we knew of. Now that Stocklands has opened there are a few more places to buy sushi from around the Bay area. Try everywhere first. Recently I decided to try it again as I was busy running errands close by and felt like a quick snack. The sushi from this shop is a joke, the rice is so gluggy you can barely swallow it, it all gets stuck up on the roof on your mouth. The fillings are pretty standard but are either bland or sickly sweet, depending on the sauces used. It was quite expensive for what it was and you don't ever actually get to see them preparing your fresh sushi like you can elsewhere. I won't go back now there are other places to choose from.
As I looked at the display of pre-wrapped California Rolls, I asked the man behind the counter if they had sushi at which point he looked at me like I was blind, telling me that what I was looking at was sushi; I clarified with a request for sashimi or nigiri sushi and he then looked completely lost - clearly not having any idea of the language I was speaking. It's a take-away with pre-wrapped California Rolls - that's it. If that's what you're looking for, it's probably great but when I walked into Sushi To You, I was looking for what I know as sushi and that's nigiri.
