Sake House Asian Food - Torrington

Food is delicious, drinks are fantastic! We love this restaurant. The cheff and waitress are so nice always, we can't wait to go back!

Not a typical torrington Asian food place. Lighting is low, service can seem slow, but it brings back memories of being stationed back in Japan.The hot sake is a must.They have authentic Japanese export beers available and the Asahi super dry made me long for nights out in yokuska

Lovely Asian restaurant in Torrington! The Love Boat sushi platter was fabulous. We also had a mapo tofu (nicely spiced) and teriyaki chicken (cooked perfectly). Everything was delicate and wonderful. Thank you so much for your hospitality and delicious food.

I wasn’t going to put a review but I feel obligated. This use to be my favorite place but the past few months they went downhill. FAST. The staff knows there’s black mice running around while you eat. The bartenders watched them scurry around too. Im allergic to 3 shellfish so I usually get sashimi and let them know. They put all 3 allergy items on my plate and tried to convince me it wasn’t touching my food. If I didn’t catch it, I could have been in huge trouble. Meanwhile I didn’t even order those 3 things. They made the waitress herself comp my food… the poor girl. Don’t support this. They’re lucky I didn’t call the health inspectors of the area. I’m usually not one to review but I really don’t want people sick or dying!

Was awful. The waitress was a sweetheart and was amazing however the kitchen sucked. We waited an hour for half of our apps to come out, then after 1 hour and 30 minutes we still didn’t even get our main meals or apps that were still missing. We decided to pay the check and leave. They were more concerned about their DoorDash orders then the 3 tables or customers sitting in the restaurant. The waitress was great kitchen was awful. Hopefully she doesn’t get blamed for us leaving.
