Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónIf you want a private party but also want the vibe of a busy well know restaurant, then booking the mezzanine table will do the trick nicely. Our waitress was super attentive and ensured each course was delivered at just the right time, and made sure no glasses were empty. Good job BSK
Eat and service well. we were a party of 4 and had only 4 nets a drink and coffee. everything was ok except I object to them a 15% service fee on bill £21.
Restaurant was closed even though reservations were available. No notification was given until we arrived to the restaurant to a posted sign on the door.
A party of four arrived today (3rd December 2022) at 1.20pm for a 1.30pm lunch. We were asked if we had come for brunch or lunch which struck me as being a little odd as I don't recall even seeing that option when making the booking on Open Table. We were shown to our table and given bottled still water. We were not asked what sort of water we wanted (would have asked for tap, rather than the £5 bottle we were given). We had nibbles rather than starters which were fine. Three of us ordered burgers with the fourth member of the party having a gluten free chicken curry. The food itself was fine. I actually enjoyed the burger, although it certainly wasn't the largest that I have ever had. Our main gripe was the length of time that we were waiting for the food, an hour after we had ordered it, by which time we had pretty well finished the bottle of wine we ordered. We were then left with desert menus but nobody came to see if we wanted to order anything. The restaurant was by no means busy, particularly given that this was a Saturday lunchtime many empty tables. As 3.30pm beckoned (more than two hours after we had arrived), we decided to forego the desert and asked for the bill. On it, we found the £5 charge for the water, a £1 donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital and a 15% service charge £21.45. We would have been quite happy to donate the £21.45 to GOSH rather than the providers of particularly poor service. One of our party had been to the restaurant before and had , in fact, recommended it for our lunch today. He was bitterly disappointed by the deterioration of the service which soured our experience.
Decent food but wanted beef wellington and was told its only served for 2 people. I got charged £5 for eater which is a joke.
