The 99 Restaurant chain has been around for a long time now. Very little money has been invested in the food prep or the dining room, and it shows (at every 99). The chain will fail in the next couple of years. Their peak was a couple of decades ago (or longer). Closure is a matter of time and leases expiring.
The burger I had was incredibly average. It was THE burger of all time. I mean it was okay, serviceable, but just so average. Tasted like Uncle Dale’s backyard burgers. The fries on the other hand, saltier than the Atlantic. I mean, I tell you, these things were scraped from the bottom of the sea. Very soggy, flaccid fries. The flavor was there, but the looks weren’t it. Overall, let’s pick up the pace.
Where do I even start. Those were the soggiest and saltiest fries I’ve ever had in my life. For the first time ever I didn’t finish my fries. Let me say my fingers were covered in salt like it was sugar from the bottom of a sour patch kids bag. Let’s just say if this was a competition the fires would’ve got LVP. And the burger I had was absolutely alright. It wasn’t terrible but I’ve had many better burgers. So overall not great food to be honest.
Should get rid of the bartender that been there for ever but suck at their job. Especially a certain female bartender.
