A Touch Of Salt - Townsville

I attended my daughter's wedding at the restaurant on Friday, June 22nd, and I want to commend the exceptional service and food we received. The staff and owners truly deserve congratulations. I would like to give a special shout-out to Henry, Colin, Mathew from the restaurant, Mathew from the floor, and Ben for their outstanding service. Well done! I highly recommend this place. Cheers!

The service is friendly, and the food is above average, though not particularly outstanding. There aren't many upscale dining options in Townsville, so this restaurant is considered one of the better choices.

The staff were wonderful—friendly, helpful, warm, and attentive. As for the food, it was very good! The gyoza had a delicious spiciness to it. The fried duck was unique and flavorful, though it could have benefited from a little more seasoning. I chose the lamb for my main course, and it was delicious, complemented by some lovely side sauces and condiments. The smoky lamb bacon was particularly tasty, but like the other meats, it could have used a touch more seasoning. The side of carrots and pumpkin was sensational, enhanced by yogurt and crunchy nuts at the bottom, which really elevated the dish! Overall, I had a fantastic dinner and was very satisfied. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in town!

We visited A Touch of Salt for my sisters graduation dinner. Meals are slightly smaller and quite pricey, however absolutely beautifully presented and delicious. In saying that, none of our party left hungry and everything was just enough. We were greeted with great enthusiasm at the door and taken straight to our table. Service throughout the night could not be faulted. The wine and cocktail list was fantastic, although again, quite pricey. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options are available. Over all I would rate A Touch of Salt as one of the nicest restaurants in Townsville for a special occasion.

Their number one ranking in Townsville is well deserved. I had the Entree sized pasta with fresh greens which left room for the bread pudding. Absolutely fantastic, as was the service.
