Via Veneto - Troisdorf

Excellent Italian food! Very wide selection, pizzas, pastas, meat and fresh fish entrees. Even easy for paleo eaters (which isn't always the case at Italian restaurants). Waiter is Italian. Very friendly and helpful, and likes helping those struggling with their German. I've eaten here twice now and will be back. The last time I had lamb chops Genovese style. Five baby lamb chops with a dollop of basil pesto on each and vegetables on the side. This was a great choice!

Pleasant atmosphere wrapped in the warmth of a small Italian food in the middle of Germany. Everything was excellent from appetizers to desserts, and of curse the pizza was even better then average pizzeria you can find in Italy cooked with wood oven also they're bread fragrant and tasty. Meat filet from imported directly from Tuscany (Chianina certificated) absolutely a must to try, and the fresh sea food (my girlfriend tried linguine with lobster cuttlefish ink) they where just superb! Excellent wines choice from great whites from Veneto (Pinot grigio) also negroamaro from Puglia. The only downside they are located about 20 from Cologne center (Spich train station) but believe to me is worthy to go!

This was the 2nd time I had lunch in this restaurant and was again not dissapointed.Started with baby squid that was nice and fresh with a hint of Garlic. Had a spagetti Carbonara as main cours this was very good. For dessert took a panna cotta that was served with caramel sause. This was the best panna cotta I had for a long time.
