Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónFor years, I've driven by this restaurant, curious about how their steaks would taste. This weekend, I finally decided to give it a shot. I had nine family members visiting, and...
We had a great experience with excellent service—thank you, Gabe! The food arrived quickly and was decent, though I've had better meals elsewhere. We both ordered the El Corral cut prime rib, which was the perfect portion size. The salad, rolls, baked potato, and tamale pie were all quite tasty. However, the prime rib lacked flavor and had quite a bit of fat, though it was cooked well and fairly tender. I prefer creamed horseradish, but the accompaniment was fine. We might consider returning in the future.
We both ordered the prime rib. I chose the petty cut, while my companion opted for a regular cut. We requested it to be cooked medium rare, but it arrived closer to rare, which was disappointing. The meat lacked delicacy as well. I had a small baked potato that was acceptable, while my companion enjoyed a generous serving of broccoli, although it was just boiled. The salads were simply presented and seemed to use inexpensive dressing. The dinner rolls were unimpressive. On a positive note, our waiter was very nice and efficient. In my opinion, the prime rib dinner at Texas Roadhouse is far superior, especially with better side options.
The prime rib was truly excellent—juicy and tender. I paired it with a side of tamale pie, which was packed with cheese and corn. The meal also included a salad, although it was just iceberg lettuce.
We visited El Corral to celebrate our 41st anniversary, just like we have for many years. The prime rib was outstanding, and our service was quick and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful evening! One suggestion: it would be great to see the pumpernickel bread return and to have the salad tossed at the table as you did in the past.
