As soon as we got sad she got our drinks swiftly and took our orders right as we were ready. I ordered the threepiece meat and I could totally say that the ribs were the best out of all three meats. My wife ordered the nachos whichunfortunately I did not take a picture because she ate them too quickly lol. They were served with a white cheddar and sheordered the brisket and pulled pork to be dazzled over the top. This is a good spot! Family friendly and a place just has anall-around good atmosphere.
Drinks and free appetizer was awesome. The entree on the other hand was not great. The 3 meats we chose was dry unfortunately, brisket, pulled pork and 3 ribs. The fried okra was not good at all. It's sliced okra deep fried in batter and all I couldtaste was fried batter. We wasn't told about the pickle bar until towards the end of our meal. Not happy at all about that.Probably would not return due to dry bbq meats. This makes me miss dallas and las vegas bbq alot.
Since it was so cold inside, my adult son and I went out to the car to grab a sweater and blanket. My husband, who was also feeling chilly, asked another employee if the fan above us could be turned off. He received an annoyed eye roll in response. While one fan was eventually turned off, it wasn't the one directly above us. I politely informed our server about this, only to receive another eye roll; the fan never got turned off. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be uncomfortable due to the cold. As for the food, my meat was decent, but the sweet potato waffle fries were hard and dry to the point that we couldn't eat them. I had been looking forward to them! The beans were bland even after I tried to spice them up with barbecue sauce and pepper. Eventually, I had to step outside just to warm up. There also seemed to be some internal employee issues that contributed to the uncomfortable atmosphere. My husband shared this feedback with the manager, who acknowledged being aware of the situation for the past two weeks but seemed indifferent, even laughing it off. That was quite strange! We always try to support businesses in downtown Tulsa, but we won't be returning to this Albert G's. Instead, I would recommend visiting the Albert G’s at Tulsa Hills; they are definitely worth the drive!
This is a fantastic place to visit if you're in the mood for BBQ. It's conveniently located near my office, making it a short and easy walk. The interior is spacious and well-maintained. There's a pickle bar available for everyone, and the staff are friendly. Lunch arrives quickly, allowing you to enjoy your meal and return to the office with some time to spare. The BBQ is delicious, and it's all too easy to indulge a bit too much!
I went there to watch football and ended up enjoying a lot of delicious meat! They have an amazing selection and even a pickle bar with an array of homemade pickles! The sliced brisket is absolutely incredible. It's definitely a fantastic spot for Football Sundays!
