El Rancho Grande - Tulsa

A Tulsa icon!!! I've been eating here for over 30yrs. The food is always extremely consist,first timers should always have the cheese enchiladas. I'm also a big fan of the grilled salmon and the street tacos.

If you're looking for fast Mexican for lunch. They have a tiny buffet of enchilada and tacos with rice/beans available. It's served up by one of the staff which is great because only one person touching the utensils. I like it because it's fast and tasty. Friendly staff every time I've dined here

ICK!  This place is gross and OVERPRICED!  A guacamole "salad" is 7$ and you get about 3 tablespoons of day old or older - on a pile of iceberg lettuce.  Ask for a taco salad without meat and you get charged more.  They should change the name to El Raunch-o. As it certainly fits the description:  smuttiness or vulgarity; crudeness; obscenity: slovenliness; grubbiness.

Nostalgia Trip. If you're like me and attended TU in the early 70's, you came here after midnight, amazingly stoned, and ordered the secret, off-the-menu Nighthawk Special. These days it's actually on the menu and is classic old-school tex-mex goodness. I live in Arizona now and you just can't get this kind of Mexican food there, so coming back for Homecoming weekend and eating here brought back fond memories.
