Semento's Tavern - Valparaiso

This place is a great spot for enjoying a beer and a meal. I absolutely loved the lasagna and the "Best Damn Ham Sandwich." The service was super friendly, and the prices for both food and drinks were quite reasonable.

I've been going to Semento's for years, and I can honestly say I've never had a disappointing experience. The atmosphere is inviting for everyone, whether you're 21 or 80. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the food is fantastic. They also have plenty of entertainment options if you want to stick around for a while. I particularly enjoy the Italian beef and cheese fries, and their weekday specials are a great deal. If you choose to hang out after your meal, you can take advantage of the internet jukebox, pool tables, dart boards, and a lovely patio during the warmer months. I've consistently had a great time there, whether I'm having a drink or just a soda, and I've never felt uncomfortable about not drinking or being a woman.

I was pleasantly surprised by this bar! The food was excellent, the service exceptional, and the place was spotless. Usually, I prefer bars and taverns over cafes or lounges, but this venue changed my viewpoint. It successfully combines the best elements of both styles. You really feel welcomed here from the moment you arrive!

Absolutely love this place and it will always be my go to spot!! The vibes are chill and everyone is friendly. Went at around 6pm tonight and had about a 15 minute wait but it did not bother us. We had drinks and dinner and everything was perfect. Highly recommend!!
