Sushi Factory - Vancouver

This place has gone downhill. Service is nonexistent, sushi is run-of-the-mill cheap fish and utterly devoid of any flavor. There are much better sushi options nearby. Avoid this one and try the sushi place on the second level of the mall which is about the same price but with more flavor.Food: 2/5

Need sushi that's cheap and fast? This is where you get it in the Vancouver Mall area.Prices are about what you'd expect from a belt place. Each plate ranges from $2.45-$5.00. Quality is good. Not the best, but good.My roommates and I frequent this place because it's within walking distance and the quality isn't bad for the price.When eating at these places you don't need a hovering server to help order stuff. So they leave you alone unless you speak up and want a specialty item or a specific roll.Order the cucumber salad as an appetizer. It's great!

Really weird interaction that will keep me and my partner from visiting again. Which sucks, seeing as I’ve been going here for years and never had an issue. We decided to treat ourselves after a long day of mundaneness, and go get sushi. Never in my life have I felt shamed for eating sushi in a sushi restaurant. Usually folks want customers to buy and enjoy, but they didn’t even want business it seems. We were shamed behind our backs, and foolishly at that. At least have the decency to not make eye contact with the customers you’re serving while laughing and then immediately cut it short when you’ve both realized you’ve made eye contact with the customers. Lost my appetite completely after that. Body language is universal, and perhaps needs to be taught to the wait and line staff.Severely unprofessional, and I surely won’t be visiting again. Food was alright, but tasted disgusting after being shamed.

We have been coming to sushi factory for over a decade. It honestly took a while to find a sushi restaurant where the customer service was as good as the food. We love Tracy her family. They treat us like family when we come in and the sushi is always fresh and the restaurant is always clean. This place is a must ?Kid-friendliness: They are so kind to my kids. Always patient and accommodating.

Lovely place. Quick service if it isn't too busy, and a bit on the slow side if its packed which should be forgiven since it appears they may be understaffed. However this shouldn't be an issue if you're just getting a drink and whatever is on the belt. We're regulars here so I might be a bit bias, but I highly recommend this place!Food: 5/5
