Sushi Factory - Vancouver

This restaurant has really declined. The service is lacking, and the sushi tastes like subpar, inexpensive fish with no flavor at all. There are plenty of better sushi options in the area. I recommend skipping this one and checking out the sushi place on the second level of the mall. It's similarly priced but has much more flavor. Food rating: 2/5.

One advantage of dining at places like this is that you don’t have a server hovering over you. They only check in if you ask for something special or a specific roll. I highly recommend starting with the cucumber salad as an appetizer; it’s delicious!

I had a really unsettling experience that will prevent my partner and me from returning to this restaurant, which is disappointing since I've been a loyal customer for years without any problems. After a long, monotonous day, we decided to treat ourselves to sushi. However, I've never felt so embarrassed about eating sushi in a sushi restaurant before. Typically, you'd expect staff to encourage customers to enjoy their meals, but it seemed like they were indifferent to our presence. We overheard staff laughing and making comments about us, which felt disrespectful. It would at least be considerate to avoid making eye contact with the customers while doing so, but they abruptly stopped when they realized we were watching. That completely ruined my appetite. Body language speaks volumes, and I believe it’s something that both the waitstaff and kitchen staff should learn. Their behavior was extremely unprofessional, and I definitely will not be returning. The food was just okay, but it left a bad taste in my mouth after the whole experience.

We have been coming to sushi factory for over a decade. It honestly took a while to find a sushi restaurant where the customer service was as good as the food. We love Tracy her family. They treat us like family when we come in and the sushi is always fresh and the restaurant is always clean. This place is a must ?Kid-friendliness: They are so kind to my kids. Always patient and accommodating.

Lovely place. Quick service if it isn't too busy, and a bit on the slow side if its packed which should be forgiven since it appears they may be understaffed. However this shouldn't be an issue if you're just getting a drink and whatever is on the belt. We're regulars here so I might be a bit bias, but I highly recommend this place!Food: 5/5
