Large room with lots of tables so you can usually find a spot. <br/ <br/ To those who criticize reviews by pho lovers.... it’s a free world. It’s winter and I want a great soup. So I’m often here for pho. Period.
TL;DR awesome broth and selection, a must try for pho lovers!<br/ <br/ I finally stopped by this place on Kingsway on a Sunday. It was already fairly busy at 11 before the <br/ church goers came through.<br/ <br/ I had the pho with steak and beef brisket. It was absolutely fantastic! The broth was light and clear, it wasn't drowned in MSG so I wasn't desperately grabbing for water. The brisket was amazing, it was very tender and flavorful. <br/ <br/ Can't wait to to go back again! <br/

Yes
Finding a new and unique Vietnamese restaurant to try is always hard because everything tends to be the same everywhere you go. I mean you have your beef noodle soup, your salad roll, your grilled protein with broken rice dish…you know what I mean?. So when I heard about Hai Phong, I jumped at the opportunity to try it out!
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver. They have a wide selection of dishes, including my favourite, water spinach/ong choy/morning glory. To my knowledge, this is one of the only places that serve this dish year round, and for this sole reason it is worth a visit. The other dishes which I have tried were also very good.
