Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe were enjoying a few hours of action at the Edgewater Casino and decided to get a bite to eat before leaving. After placing our order it took over 25 minutes for our food to arrive although the bistro was near empty and I could could close to 1.5 dozen staff members. Our snack comprised of the 3 cheese mac & cheese and a bowl of beef brisket noodle soup. The cheese in the mac & cheese was very watery and lacked flavor. The noodles were far overcooked and the broth also lacked taste and flavor. It will be a long time before we patronize the Splash Bistro again.
I've dined at the Splash Bistro a number of times over the years. As many reviewers have already noted, it certainly isn't anything to write home about, nor is it bad, either. One of the benefits of coming early (i.e.: around dinner time) is you can catch some pretty good dinner deals from a burger and a beer for about $5 to a Prime Rib dinner at just over $10. But, to be clear, it certainly isn't the best Prime Rib, but for about $10 one really can't complain because you get a large piece of meat with all the fixings.Besides the specials, the menu is also fairly extensive: it features a variety of Chinese dishes (including a "buffet") and Western fare. In terms of the Asian dishes, the soup isn't bad, and the Chow mien is decent; however, for my money -- and the reason I keep coming back here -- the dim sum (shrimp) cannot be beat. In fact, I usually get a double order! In terms of the Western food, it's your standard stuff -- chicken wings, strips, burgers -- things like that. The chicken wings are OK, but they're often overdone and, when they aren't, you still have to eat them pretty quickly otherwise they get tough. If you're a frequent visitor of the casino, be sure to use your Encore card for a slight discount! So, in short, Splash Bistro is average at best, but when it comes to late night eats, it's pretty darn good!
The place was quick and had good food not a fancy place that's for sure and it was hard to find a clean table... Order up front and the meal is delivered to your table
We were starving at 1am while clubbing so we decided to stumble over to the casino and eat at Splash. I was impressed by the selection at this hour! Anything from: steamed dim sum dumplings, wings, fried rice and noodles, noodle soup, burgers, snacks, drinks, etc. Very innovative considering there is really nothing close by. I enjoyed how our food was prepared and cooked to order. We ordered fried rice $12, wings $11.50, and noodle soup $10. Everything tasted average. Nothing spectacular but it hit the spot at the time. The only down side was it is a little pricey and we waited long but what do you expect. Tips: bring your encore card, this can give you discounts, in game days and before 11pm or 12am, there are incredible food deals so look it up and check out their menu!
Probably the best tasting and most affordable Prime Rib in Vancouver. For only $10, you get 1 of the tastier and economical Prime Ribs outside of Las Vegas. However, you must eat ALL the Prime Rib because of the price you cannot take any left overs. The Prime Rib is so good though you do not need to take it home.
