I've always liked Bows Coffee Roasters I visit the shop every time I'm on the Island and have had consistently good coffee and service but am prompted to leave a review because of my excellent experience ordering coffee beans. I live on the other side of the country, but have family in Victoria and recently ordered from Bows as a birthday gift for my stepdad. I initially ordered a filter coffee subscription, but the first bag ended up being too light for my stepdad's taste; I emailed Bows the day they were preparing the next month's order, and they immediately switched the subscription to espresso roast upon request with no extra charge or complaint. The next day I received delighted feedback from the gift recipient about how much he was enjoying his new coffee :)I've also had great service from the staff at Bows over the phone; my sister wanted to buy beans in store and called me for advice, and ended up passing the phone over to the barista so they could answer my questions directly. They were super knowledgeable and accommodating, and gave me all the information I needed to help my sister choose something to her taste. Every interaction I've had with Bows over the past decade has reflected expertise and passion for good coffee, and they remain my go to roaster in Victoria.
Lovely little neighborhood cafe attached to their roaster. Limited food options (cookies mainly) and unfortunately nothing GF. It’s not that hard to have one GF option. Even something like rebel so it’s packaged and separate. But otherwise very good coffee.
Nice little Roastery that also sells drinks and some limited food. If you like coffee this is worth the visit.
Excellent coffee beans.I like the rustic style. Beans being roasted and bagged in the background.
