Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónMy friends and I were in Chinatown looking for a restaurant to eat at, but most were closed by 7:30pm. Luckily, we stumbled upon Ocean Garden which was still open. We were welcomed by Mei, who served us quickly and the food was delicious. We enjoyed their hot tea on the cold, rainy evening. Mei was very friendly and ensured our comfort throughout the meal with her constant smiles. She even provided us with forks for our leftovers to-go. Overall, we had a great dining experience with amazing food and customer service at Ocean Garden.
After years of multiple visits, Ocean Garden holds a special place in my heart. My family and I used to frequent this restaurant on random weekdays or weekends when we were feeling too lazy to cook, or simply had a craving for our favorite dishes. While I won't claim that the food here is the absolute best or most unique, it has always been consistently satisfying for us. Ocean Garden is our go-to spot for classics like Breaded Almond Chicken and Wor Wonton Soup, dishes that evoke childhood memories with every bite. Personal favorites include the Sweet and Sour Lean Pork and Shrimp Egg Foo-Young. Expect typical North American Chinese cuisine with some hidden gems like the flavorful Beef Flank Wonton Noodle Soup. The decor may be a bit outdated, but it's the delicious food that keeps me coming back. The prices are reasonable and the service is efficient, ensuring that we never have to wait too long for our meals. Overall, I would give Ocean Garden a solid 4 stars and will definitely be returning in the future.
I 'm sorry I didn 't read the comments before entering here. The worst Chinese food I 've ever eaten in my life! Bad, bland, no salt, no taste! the rice tastes like raw pancake flour. The meat is supposed to say lean and is pure skin. wacala, the worstthing I 've ever eaten Chinese food. and lousy service, I arrived and they threw the menu on the table, without greeting atleast. Don 't waste your money.
It can be difficult to find restaurants open late in Victoria, but that's how we stumbled upon this gem. We have no regrets. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are large, and the tea is delicious (a special house blend included with our meal). The staff is kind, the decor is nice, and the location is convenient. Highly recommended.
The food is disgusting, the price is experiencing! The First, they don 't ask me which tea I would like to drink, but they charge us the tea fee. The second, the food are disgusting. I ordered lunch special, the chow man is dry, the deep fried chickenand prawn oils and no favor, too much flour. The fired rice too dry and too hard. The server make me uncomfortable. We are 4adults and 2 children. We told the server we were not very hungry, we wanted to order 3 meals, but the server remind us just 3meals, then my parents add 1 more meal. Finally we had 1 meal left. The most important thing is the total is $67 dollars, but Idon 't know why they charge us $77, then I ask the server is the price including tips? she said yes. I hated they didn 't letme know the price including tips. (Luckily I checked the bill, if not I 'll pay the double tip. Then I paid $77 for theunpalatable lunch. For sure I would come again.
