The Hot Cold Cafe - Victoria

The sandwiches are incredibly delicious, and the bread is to die for. I also really enjoy the yellow curry soup, especially during this time of year. I appreciate that they offer a small European coffee cup size as well. I highly recommend this cozy little cafe!

Umm mmmmm. Yum. Stumbled across this cool place while looking for lunch in Victoria. Delicious, fresh food we had the coconut curry soup, mama Lynda?s baked eggs the sweet chili smoked chicken sandwich. All were fantastic. Portions were big nice tohave the half size option great for a light meal or to have some soup with it (Go full size if you?re pretty hungry). Sorry,no pics. Ate too quickly. Service was super friendly, helpful welcoming (order at the counter).

I visited a charming little café and tried the almond veggie sandwich and the sweet chili tofu, both of which were delicious. My favorite was the almond veggie sandwich. The house-made focaccia was soft and flavorful, the vegetables were fresh and crispy, and the almond spread was creamy and salty - so good. I also enjoyed the hazelnut and vanilla oat milk lattes, which were delicious. The staff, especially Jill, were kind and hardworking. However, there was always a long line and not enough staff, causing some stress. It would be nice to have music playing to create a better atmosphere. The layout of the café could be improved, but overall it was a good experience with potential for more improvement.

We weren?t sure if this is where we wanted to stop for lunch, but we were glad we did! The staff was very helpful and enthusiastic about our menu choices, and gave us a good timeframe for when we?d get our food. The curried egg sandwich wasfresh and light, made with their house-made bread. The salad was also really nice and very tasty. Glad we stopped in for a bite!

This is one of my favorite places I have found in Victoria! The coffee is amazing (I always order it iced), the vegetarian sandwiches are fantastic (it's rare to find a place with so many great veggie choices), and the cookies are truly the best I have ever had! I love this place!
