Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe were visiting Vidalia and were looking forward to having breakfast at this local establishment. There were 6 in our party (including my 93 year old mother). We were told that we would have to wait while our table was prepared and since there was limited room inside, we moved to a couple of outside benches. After 45 minutes I went into the cafe to ensure we had not been forgotten since at least 10 parties of 2 to 3 people had been seated after we had been told to wait. The waitress loudly said, “Baby, does it look like we have a table for a party of 6?”. Needless to say, we left. What happened to the southern hospitality that is usually present in Georgia (I am a Georgian)? In this place it is totally lacking. On a happy note, the other patrons we talked to were extremely pleasant and kind.
Cozy place felt welcome food was great we need more place like this in vidalia
Two favorite meals. Veggie omlete. Hamburger and fries. Simple and delicious. And for some reason difficult to find such excellent quality ?Vegetarian options: Veg omlete is so goodKid-friendliness: Kids are in there all the time. Noisy? No one cares.Parking: Morning from 9 until 10 are packed and parking is toughWheelchair accessibility: The waitresses will move chairs and tables to accommodate door is wide and very little bump from outside to inside
I have never had better country fried potatoes with breakfast. Amazing. And the bacon egg sandwich on sourdough is delicious. Don’t forget the corned beef hash. Cooked to perfection. Now if you prefer lunch, you can’t go wrong with the tuna melt. I travel through Vidalia several times a year and I time it so I am there by 1:00pm. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 15. Best breakfast in Georgia.
Found this place on Yelp and Came here to meet my cousin for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Was immediately greeted and seated when I walked through the door, and received a menu. This spot has a nice country feel to it. Pretty compact inside. Has a bar for extra seating. There was quite an amount of traffic coming and going which is a great signSince my cousin was running a lil late I went ahead and had got started on a cup of coffee.I saw some pics of their ham n cheese omelet online with a side of potatoes and decided to order a SW Omelet with ham, onions, bell peppers but without tomatoes. It took between 20-30 mins to get our food which we didn't order a lot but was surprised it took that long. The waitress was nice and kept us up to date on the food as she came over a few times to give me a refill on my coffee. When our food came out e writhing looked good. But the potatoes were lukewarm and seemed like I got the last scraped corner of the potatoes in the pan. They were burnt and didn't get to taste the flavor of the potatoes. The omelet was ok...it had a good amount of cheddar cheese and bell pepper. I should've stuck with my original plan of just a plain ham n cheddar omelet.Overall it was an avg experience for my first time here...Great prices…I wouldn't mind coming back again to try something different the next time I'm in town. I’d give 3.5 stars mainly due to the service and reasonable prices.
