Not a bad joint, good for what it is. I get the feeling the majority of the business they do is take out being that I was the only one in the restaurant eating and the way they served me the food was in takeout containers but it wasn't bad. Especially if you want to dine at a place that isn't too busy or noisy. Was a little disappointed they didn't serve alcohol but I guess it's not the end of the world, lol. Staff members were friendly. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: TSO's Chicken
Joy Wok is a nice place. I guess the building was once something else like a diner or sweet shop. Very clean. Food was good we both had the General Tso's Chicken, mine with plain white rice and hubby had pork fried rice. Big portions so we ate the left overs as a light dinner the next night. Looking forward to eating there again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
I have ordered from Joy Wok several times and the food is always tasty and well prepared. Moo Shu Chicken, pork lomein beef with vegetables, steamed or pan fried dumplings are all very good. I like really spicy food but I would warn that their General Taos chicken and Mongolian beef are extremely hot so if you like a little spice you might want to ask them to make it not too spicy. Service has always been quick and friendly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I didn't like the egg rolls. They are thin with not enough filling so it is just like eating mostly fried wrapper. I definitely would not recommend the egg rolls. Their crab Rangoon is very good though. Overall I would definitely recommend Joy wok
