Great little spot and delicious food! They open at 11am and have plenty of flavorful choices! Keep an eye out for it, you don’t want to miss it
Like most of the other reviews stated, I selected this location for its convenient location and cheap rate. However, if I would have known the slurry of issues I would have faced during my stay, I would have just coughed up the higher rates of the beachside hotels. The rooms themselves were extremely dated, having cracks in the walls and ceilings, water damage in the shower, and cigarette butts stamped to the balcony floor. The continental breakfast advertised falls short of its promises, as the poorly stocked buffet was coated in waffle batter, dirty plates, and syrup. All of this, while annoying, would have been bearable if not for the giant cockroach that fell on our faces at 1 in the morning. While a delayed called to the lobby yielded a begrudging offer for a nearby room, the cleanliness of this room was on-par with that of our cockroach den. Several other roaches were found scampering in our balcony and under the sofa chair. To add to this traumatic experience, the managerial staff at Days Inn refused to offer any sort of apology or full refund for our stay. In conclusion, if you want to deal with grime, decay, and roaches for a cheap rate, be my guest. If you’d actually like to enjoy your stay at VA beach, book elsewhere.
My family and I planned a trip to VA Beach after staying in Williamsburg for a couple of days. Days Inn charged my card 4-5 days before we even left for vacation and said they had to have it to ensure that we had a room. When we arrived at the Days Inn, we were utterly disappointed! We checked into the room and decided we were going to stay somewhere else. The room was absolutely disgusting. Every appliance was plugged into a strip or extension cord that was hanging from the outlet. We have a 15 month old and 3 year old, that is a huge safety hazard! My older 2 children could not believe that was the room we had booked after staying at Ford's Colony in Williamsburg. The website suggested that it was on the beachfront, it was not! Their were stains everywhere and the room smelled funky! We were in the room for 20 mins, booked a different room, went to lunch and immediately moved over to the Hampton Inn oceanfront South right across the street. We asked for a refund and the last laughed and said there was no way we were getting a refund!
Recommend. Service is good, that's where I start. Footlong hot dogs and lemonade ? Go visit this small stand, is right outside
