Went to their location in Pearl Ridge mall and wanted a coffee frappe, but the cashier kept whispering something about not being able to make it because the person who makes it was in the bathroom? Wasn't busy or nothing. A full kitchen of people and no one knows how to make it? I was honestly shocked how much she didn't care and moved on to the next person like I was a nuisance.
Pinoy's Best is Such a Disappointment! It's false advertising.Because they are not Pinoy's Best!Earlier this week, I went to Pinoy's Best Cafe in Kapolei, and I could not believe the lack of customer service but also the poor quality of the food being sold there for an outrageous price.I called their number, and they don't have a working number to order or to see what they have.I arrived at the store at about 730 pm all of the food looked old and drying out.The server supervisor Renz said the food was delivered in the morning, and nothing is cooked on location. I called my wife, and she wanted to try the pork adobo and the pinakbet. I did not order anything for myself.I told supervisor Renz that the food looked old and I can't believe they would charge full price. He gave me portion sizes of a baby's hand for my 2 choices and then 2 scoops of rice the size of 2 softballs. I questioned him about the portion size, and he said his Manager Maria told him that is the portion size. I told the server to tell his Manager Maria that I would be posting a review. After leaving I decided to pickup a Kalbi veggie plate from Pearl Korean Barbecue, because I wanted my wife to have a good meal.My wife said Pinoy's Best rice was gummy and the portions were tiny and died out.The following day I received a note from Maria apologizing and to come in, and she would make it right. I decided to post a review because they need to improve food quality and customer service. The food is in trays and doesn't have any cover, so it is exposed to the elements for 14+ hours. Now that's old!!They opened the Kapolei location August 29th 2022 and to not have a working phone is inexcusable when I told this to supervisor Renz he gave me his cell 808679XXXX. I called the number and he does not answer. I left a voicemail but he never returned my call.I would be happy to remove this review. If they train employees how to greet and treat customers. The Food needs to be cooked there and not 14 hours old.I can't see paying $24 for what I received. for a gummy rice plate with a table spoon of sides.I prefer to drive to Waipahu and go to Thelma's, where the food is fresh and the service is outstanding.
I wasted my money coming here. If possible I would give them zero star because they're very unsanitary. These are the things I observed while waiting for my turn: With their bare hands, the cashier was holding the inside of the transparent container to where they put the soup in! And the lady who was wearing apple watch was holding the ice for the halo-halo with her bare hands due to the fact that she did not even wash her hands!! the sink was just beside her!!! She was holding a pink dirty pink towel with her while preparing my order! It's disgusting!! We should remember that we are still in pandemic so we must be extra careful.
Thank goodness the drinks was good, because the service was horrendous. They were pretty annoyed at me when we ordered something, and almost everything on the menu was sold out or they didn't couldn't make it. If it wasn't for the fact that they made me feel like I was burdening them with my order I would have probably go often since it was pretty good.
